Avoid an act of revenge on electoral officers, EC asks States

The Election Commission of India has taken cognizance of harassments and victimizations of Chief Electoral officers, Additional/Joint Chief Electoral Officers and others engaged in Chief Electoral Office by the various State Governments after elections are over. The Commission has asked the State Governments to avoid an act of revenge on electoral officers who pledged to conduct free, fair, robust and ethical elections.
