Ayan Works Technology Solutions Private Limited, a Pune-based Blockchain Development Company and a global leader in providing self-sovereign identity solutions, has become the first Indian Company to receive the ‘Digital Public Good’ (DPG) recognition by the Digital Public Good Alliance (DPGA) for its open – sourced Decentralised Identity Platform called CREDEBL. ‘CREDEBL’ has been recognised by DPGA as a Digital Public Good (DPG). Blockster Labs, a product division of AyanWorks, has developed ‘CREDEBL’, which is a full-stack, Self-sovereign Identity (SSI) and Digital Credentials Management suite built on the open standards to make it to the DPG Registry (https://lnkd.in/dwNMvRz7). CREDEBL is aimed to drive and increase the adaptation of Verifiable Digital Credentials across various sectors and industry domains including e-Governance, National Digital Identity, Immigration and Travel, Education, Human Resources, Healthcare, Trade Traceability, etc.  It is designed to simplify the complex process of issuance, storage and provenance of data in real time, while maintaining the user and data privacy by leveraging the global and interoperable standards of W3C Decentralized Identifiers and Verifiable Credentials. AyanWorks has also developed a digital identity wallet called ‘ADEYA’ for credential holders, where all the issued credentials are securely stored with advanced cryptography, and presented to the verifiers in a privacy-preserving manner. Both CREDEBL and ADEYA will enable organizations to protect the privacy of the beneficiaries thus aligning to the various data protection legislations such as GDPR, DPDP, CCPA, etc. Kalyan Kulkarni, CEO and Co-founder, AyanWorks and Blockster Labs, said, “It is time for the Governments across the world to act on securing the rights of citizens, by enabling them to take control of their information. Adapting the open source technology will help Governments in bringing more confidence, transparency and community support to scale faster”.
