Bankers wondering over two years extension to part-time PSB directors

The banking circles are wondering why the Govt had been recently providing approvals for extending tenure of part-time non-official Directors in public sector banks by as many as two years. The Govt had also extended the tenure of part-time Directors of Banks Board Bureau by two years.
