Baton will be handed over after six years in ITBP

It will be a great moment for Boarder Guarding force ITBP when the DG will hand over Baton to his successor. Krishna Chaudhary, DG, superannuating on June 30  will hand over the Baton to new DG, R K Pachnanda. Last time force seen such occasion in 2011 when Ranjit Bhatia handed over it to Ranjit Sinha. After that the govt could not appoint regular DG before the retirement of superannuating DG. During the last six years either additional charge was given to some DG or officiating DG was asked to take over charge of DG.
