BEML receives FIEO’s Southern Region Export Award (Gold)

BEML LIMITED, a leading Defence Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, has bagged “Top Public Sector Exporter in Southern Region (GOLD)” award for the year 2015-16 organized by Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO), under Ministry of Commerce.  At a function held at Chennai, B R Viswanatha, Director (Mining & Construction) BEML received the award from Vice president M Venkaiah Naidu in the presence of   Governor of Tamilnadu,  Banwarilal Purohit.  The award was presented to BEML after considering various parameters including export turnover, presence in emerging markets, product diversification and growth. During the year 2015-16, BEML had exported its products to 19 countries valuing Rs. 275 crores.
