Bengal Chemicals has reported a net profit of Rs.16.3 cr and estimating to report a net profit of Rs.22 crores in 2018-19. The loss-making Bengal Chemicals became a profit-making Company in 2016-17 and in the recent past, first time reported a net profit of of Rs.4.51 crores in 2016-17, Rs.10.06 crores in 2017-18 and further in 9 months ended on December 31, 2018, the Company reported a Net Profit of Rs.16.3 Crores and estimating to report a Net Profit of Rs.22 Crores in 2018-19. Bengal Chemicals, the first pharmaceuticals Company established in India, has made the biggest turnaround in the Corporate World that too after reporting of losses for the last 50 years plus which was possible under the leadership of PM Chandraiah, in-charge Managing Director and Director (Finance).
