BHEL bags Nigeria order, reinforces its growing global stature

The Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), has secured a prestigious international order from Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals Free Zone Enterprise, Nigeria, further reinforcing its growing stature in the global engineering and manufacturing sector. The contract involves the supply and supervision of erection and commissioning of eight Gas Turbine Generator packages, making it BHEL's largest-ever single order on a supply and supervision basis for such packages in terms of both quantity and value. Won amid intense international competition, the project will be executed using equipment manufactured at BHEL's Hyderabad and Bengaluru facilities, underscoring the company's expanding global footprint and India's engineering excellence.
