The Bihar Government has revoked the suspension of 2010 batch IPS officer Sudheer Kumar Porika with effect from July 17, 2023. He has been asked to report in the Police Headquarters (PHQ). He was suspended two years ago due to his alleged links with sand mafia, when he was Superintendent of Police (SP), Aurangabad District. The Central Review Committee had recently found that it is not fair to continue his suspension beyond 17 July, 2023 following which, the state Government has taken the decision.
