Binoy Kumar, who was appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the Ministry of Steel, will succeed Mrs Aruna Sharma on September 1, 2018 upon her superannuation on August 31, 2018. Binoy Kumar, who is a 1983 batch IAS officer of Telangana cadre, was appointed 74 days before vacancy. He will continue to hold the additional charge of Spl Secretary, Logistics, till July 31.
