Bru Families to shift from Tripura

About 5,407 Bru families comprising of 32, 878 persons , presently staying in temporary camps in Tripura, will repatriate to Mizoram before Sept 30, 2018. It is being seen as major breakthrough on repatriation of displaced Bru persons from Mizoram since 1997. Rina Mitra, Special Secretary( Internal Security), MHA will coordinate the implementation of agreement which was signed on July 3, 2018 between MHA, govts of Tripura and Mizoram.
