Bulk vacancies in NHAI echoes in Lok Sabha

The issue of bulk vacancies in NHAI was raised vociferously in Lok Sabha after a Parliamentary Standing Committee report on TTC red flags functioning of NHAI Admin/ HR Division. The report expresses concern over the large vacancies in the NHAI and the funds with reference to borrowing and expenditure by the NHAI increased year after year. The report states that despite report after report by the committee for many years there is no concrete visible step initiated in this regard except artificial steps.
