Byculla railway station of Central Railway has receives UNESCO’s Asia Pacific Cultural Heritage award. With the initiatives of The Bajaj group Charitable Trust and other NGOs, the historical glory of Railway station has been restored. . The 169-year-old BYCULLA railway station in Mumbai is one of the oldest living railway stations in India. Meenal Bajaj of the Bajaj group Charitable trust and representatives of other NGOs showed the award to the Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. The station was commissioned in the year 1853. The project started in July, 2019.
