Chhattisgarh Government has assigned new responsibilities to 42 IAS officers and returned services of 5 IFS officers to their parent cadre.Accordingly, Sunil Kumar Kujur, Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture and Biotechnology had been given additional charge as Additional Chief Secretary, Commerce and Industry, Dr Kamal Preet Singh, Secretary, Commerce and Industries had been relieved of the charge of Secretary, Commerce and Industries while he would continue to hold additional charge of Finance Department, C K Khaitan, Additional Chief Secretary, Forest Department had been given additional charge as Additional Chief Secretary,Planning, Finance and Statistics, R P Mandal,Additional Chief Secretary, Panchayat and Rural Development had been given additional charge as Additional Chief Secretary,Home, Jail and Transport and would also be Transport Commissioner, Amitabh Jain, Additional Chief Secretary, Finance would be relieved of only the charge as Additional Chief Secretary, Planning Economics and Statistics, Mrs Renu Pillay, Director General, Chhattisgarh Administration Academy had been given additional charge as Additional Chief Secretary, Skill Development and Technical Education, Dr Maninder Kaur Dwivedi, OSD, CSIDC , New Delhi as HQ had been made Housing Commissioner, Chhattisgarh Bhavan, New Delhi, Gaurav Dwivedi, Secretary to Chief Minister had been given additional charge as Secretary, Mineral Resources and Secretary, Electronics & IT, Subodh Kumar Singh, Secretary to Chief Minister had been made Secretary, Labour Department, Dr M Geetha, Secretary , Woman and Child Development Department had been given additional charge as Commissioner and Director, Women and Child Development Department, Devi Dayal Singh, Secretary, Sports and Youth Welfare had been made Secretary, PHE, Ambalgan P.
