CAROTAR-2020 to come into force from Sept 21

Another major reforms in Customs pertains to the implementation of the newly inserted section 28DA of the Customs Act 1962. After this the Customs (Administration of Rules of Origin under Trade Agreement Rules-CAROTAR-2020 is coming into force from September 21 this year. It aims to supplement the operational certification procedures related to implementation of Rules of Origin.
