CBI arrests NCL Senior Manager in bribery case

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has caught a Senior Manager (Civil), Northern Coalfiels Ltd., District- Singrauli (Madhya Pradesh) red-handed for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from the complainant. He was later arrested. During investigation, searches were conducted at the official and residential premises of the accused. Two lockers in the names of accused and his wife were also operated today. A cash of Rs.72.50 lakh (approx.) and demonetised currency Notes of Rs. 33,000/- were recovered. Besides these currency Notes, documents showing investments in Capital market, FDRs, NSCs, Kisan Vikas Patras worth Rs. 1.20 crore (approx.) were also recovered.
