CBI Director A K Verma launches book authored by 12-year-old student

A book titled “Four Elementals- Quest for the Arcane Crown” authored by a 12 -year-old student Yajat  Sharma was launched by  Alok Kumar Verma, IPS, Director, Central Bureau of Investigation at the India International Centre, New Delhi on  July 29, 2018. Eminent guests on the occasion included  Y. C. Modi, DG, NIA;  Padmshree Ms Shovana Narayan,  Pramod Grover, Chairman of DPS Society,  Gurmeet Singh, Director (Mktg.) Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. and several senior officials of the Central Bureau of Investigation, Delhi Police and Delhi Administration. The book is of 384 pages and is published by Rising Sun (Pitambar Group) Publications. The debut Author Master Yajat Sharma is a student of Class- VIII in DPS R K Puram, New Delhi. His father  Anish Prasad, is a DIG in CBI. He is an IPS officer of Tripura cadre of 2003 batch. The Chief Guest Director CBI in his speech encouraged Yajat Sharma with his kind words. He said that in an era where children are glued to TV screens it is heartening to note that young author did not give in to distractions and created a marvel at such a young age. He also encouraged children there to remain sincere in academic pursuits.
