CBIC Chairman calls for accelerated AI deployment in Customs

CBIC Chairman Vivek Chaturvedi has called for faster deployment of AI, machine learning and real-time analytics, with a stated objective of a near-touchless digital Customs experience and a unified trusted taxpayer ecosystem spanning Customs, GST and other indirect-tax systems.
