CCS yet to take a call - whether Assam Rifles be in direct control of MoD
The Cabinet Committee of Security is yet to take a call on whether Assam Rifles be with full control of the Ministry of Defence ( both administrative and operational) . A meeting of Union Home Secretary had already been held with Union Defence Secretary on April 4, 2019 in this regard.
