Celebration of glorious 75 years’ journey of DVC

The glorious journey of DVC for 75 years , dedicated to the service of the nation, was celebrated in a befitting manner at Dhana Dhanya auditorium, Kolkata on July 7, 2023. The programme commenced with felicitation of the esteemed dignitaries present on the occasion. The Chairman, DVC –R N Singh,the first lady of DVC -, Mrs Bibha Singh, the Chief Vigilance Officer –S L Bhalotia and Mrs Bhalotia, the Member Technical –M Raghu Ram and Mrs Raghu Ram, the Member Finance- Arup Sarkar and Mrs Sarkar, the Member Secretary- Dr. John Mathai and Mrs Mathai graced this celebratory occasion with their august presence. The cultural evening witnessed a mesmerizing performance by the renowned Odyssey dance, Dona Ganguly and her troupe. Awards were distributed in the categories of “ Best Thermal Power Station” , “ Best GOMD”, “Best Employee of the year” , “ Best CSR Project of DVC” etc. on the occasion.
