Central Govt not interested in LIC’s open offer to buy stake in IDBI Bank
The Central Government has confirmed that it will not participate in the open offer made by LIC for acquisition of stake in IDBI Bank. This could also mean that LIC would have majority say in appointment of top management in IDBI Bank after its acquisition of 51 per cent stake in the Bank.
