Centre furious at appointment of 2006 batch IAS officer in WB

The Government of India is said to be very furious on the appointment of a junior IAS officer of 2006 batch, in West Bengal, to the post of Secretary, Rural Development, which is usually headed by ACS rank IAS officers. It is believed that such steps taken by the state will stir the fight against the center. Junior level officers of the state will be countering senior officers of the centre with regard to disbursement of funds to the state.
