Chhattisgarh stands first in providing 100 days jobs to beneficiaries

The Chhattisgarh has had reasons to feel proud of being the first State in the country to provide 100 days jobs to the beneficiaries. The State has provided jobs to as many as 55,981 families of 100 days sharing 41 percent of total jobs in the country. According to sources, the State stands in second position in the country in employment generation with 8.85 crore days jobs in the first quarter. The State has achieved a 66 percent total labour budget target and more than 70 percent jobs in 10 districts.
