Chief of Army Staff General Manoj Pande on two-day visit to Manipur

The Chief of Army Staff, General Manoj Pande is on a two-day visit to Manipur. On Saturday, the COAS visited various locations where he interacted with the local formation commanders and obtained a first hand account of the situation on ground. He also interacted with the troops. On Sunday, he will meet Ms Anusuiya Uikey, Governor, N Biren Singh, the Chief Minister and Kuldiep Singh, the Chief Security Advisor, to discuss and deliberate over the current situation and future trajectory.
