CIC registers higher disposal rate amid Covid-19 pandemic

The Central Information Commission (CIC) has continued its hearings amid the spread of COVID-19 and disposed of the cases routinely. The Chief Information Commissioner, Bimal Julka managed hearings during total lockdown period and ensured timely disposal of the cases. Interestingly, the disposal rate goes higher than the usual. The pandemic was not a major stumbling block to disposing of the cases.
