After a long time, 48th Chief Justice of India, Nuthalapati Venkata Ramana ,has made a mark by exerting his authority. In recent appointments of Judges in the SC and the High Court, he did not succumb to the pressure of the all powerful GoI. Judiciary in the country is now elated.
