CMDs, MDs, Directors deprived of medical, leave transfer, gratuity payment benefits

The Board Members, who switched over one PSU to another at board level, are moving from pillar to post to get their legitimate dues of gratuity, carry forward of leave, payments against leaves. Many times they are taking challenging assignments in sick and loss making PSUs only to realise later that they lose on perks and other post retirement medical facilities.  The Board Members at the level of CMD, MD and Director are reported to be making frequent visits to the Ministry of Labour and Department of Public Enterprises and concerned Ministries in order to avail the same. The system at present does not support mobility of board level PSU officials. Board level appointments are contract appointments and officials cannot always revert to the parent organization, according to sources.
