Coir Board Chairmen proves his mettle, achieves 80% growth

Strange but true! At a time when most organisations have been struggling to save their existence post Covid, Coir Board has achieved an 80 per cent growth in domestic marketing of Coir Products. And this could be done due to innovative thinking of D Kuppu Ramu who joined as Chairman Coir Board in July 2021. Due to his out of the box thinking he has turned the fortunes of the organization in just eight months by starting activities in non traditional areas like Gujarat, Maharashtra, North-East, Odisha etc. It may be pointed out here that Coir Board bagged a gold medal for his best performance, during the India's biggest Mega show i.e. India International Trade Fair 2021, New Delhi.
