Concerned Ministries to pick up candidates for PSU Boards?

It is heard on the whispers that the Government of India is expected to endow the concerned Ministries with the responsibility for picking up Board Members in their respective Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) instead of Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB). The concerned Ministries are unable to buy the proposal being authored by the Government of India as it is lengthy and time consuming process for selection and appointment.
