CRPF lady officer to get married at Rashtrapati Bhawan

It is happening for the first time in the history of independent India. A CRPF lady officer Poonam Gupta is set to become the first person to be married at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. The President’s official residence granted permission for the wedding to be hosted within the complex. Gupta, a CRPF Assistant Commandant, who led the all-women contingent at 74th Republic Day Parade, will get married on February 12. She is currently posted as a Personal Security Officer (PSO) at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
