CS presided over meeting of Civil Services Board in UK, Transfer list of IFoS officers soon

With a focus on capacity-building, efficiency, and timely implementation of forestry schemes, the Uttarakhand government is likely to come up with the transfer list of IFoS officers soon. The exercise to this effect has begun as the model code of conduct, after the conclusion of three-tier panchayat elections, came to an end.

The expected list is likely to reshape the operational framework of the state. To reshuffle the IFoS officers, a crucial meeting of the Civil Services Board (CSB) took place at the Secretariat. The meeting was chaired by Chief Secretary Anand Vardhan and attended by Principal Secretary RK Sudhanshu and Chief Conservator of Forests (CCF) Sameer Sinha. During the meeting , a detailed transfer proposal was presented and approved, signaling a wave of administrative changes in the department. The finalized transfer list includes reshuffles from the rank of Chief Forest Conservator to Divisional Forest Officer (DFO).
