CSS Forum demands Rs 1 cr to families of deceased officers

The Central Secretariat Service (CSS) Forum has written to the Government of India requesting to provide ex-gratia financial assistance of Rs one crore to the families of the Central Secretariat Service (CSS) officers met premature deaths because of Covid-19 and expedited disbursal of terminal benefits to bereaved family members. More than 50 CSS officers have succumbed to the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS)-CoV2 during the last two months.
