As per the latest revised guidelines/procedure for appointment of Chief Vigilance Officers (CVOs) in Central Public Enterprises (CPSEs), and other organizations under Central Ministries and Departments, the posts of CVOs in CPSEs will be filled up on deputation basis and these will be Non Central Staffing Scheme posts. The tenure of appointment of CVOs in a CPSE or organization shall be for a period of three years which is extendable by another two years to the overall combined limit prescribed for central deputation and or being away from the cadre.
