D S Mishra to be next Cabinet Secretary ?
If all goes well, D S Mishra will succeed Rajiv Gauba on September 1, 2021 as Cabinet Secretary. 1984 batch UP cadre IAS officer Mishra, who will retire on Dec 31,2021, will then be senior-most Secretary in the GoI. Provided he is not moved as Chief Secretary of UP.
