Some Defence veterans want the post of Independent Director vacated by Ms Dipali Khanna who ceased to be Director of Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd upon completion of her tenure be filled by appointing a retired officer of Indian Air Force at the level of Vice Marshals or Marshals.
