According to sources, those Karnataka cadre IAS officers who are posted in Delhi are unlikely to go to Bengaluru to sit on the Chair of Chief Secretary. Presently about eight IAS officers of Karnataka cadre are posted as Secretary or Secretary equivalent in GoI. These officers belong to 1983 to 1986
