Did Amarinder Singh recommend names of Gupta and Mahajan ?

One must admire old timer politician Amarinder Singh who always takes care of his loyal bureaucrats. If insiders are to be believed,  during his meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah he asked for favour to his Chief Secretary Vini Mahajan and DGP Dinkar Gupta by giving them good postings in the GoI. The day Amrinder Singh resigned, Chief Secretary Vini Mahajan and DGP Dinkar Gupta were removed. Presently both the officers are on leave and keen to join the GoI.
