The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of Department of Personnel & Training for appointment of Dilip Kumar, Joint Secretary, National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) (JS level), Office of Lokpal for a period of six months on additional charge basis or till a new incumbent joins the post or until further orders, whichever is the earliest. He is an IAS officer of Punjab cadre of 1995 batch.
