Discussion about new set of bureaucrats begins

Though the new government at the Centre will be formed around June 10, discussions have already started about a new set of bureaucrats likely to be given important assignments. Presently, in the GoI 8 IAS officers, who belong to the 1987 batch, are senior-most bureaucrats. But half of them will superannuate this year. Now the question is how many IAS officers will be picked up in the new government.
