Earlier, a Gujarat cadre IAS officer was posted as CS. He was from Mizoram. In the Govt of India, presently V. Vualnam, Secretary, Civil Aviation is the only IAS officer, who belongs to Manipur. He is a 1992 batch IAS officer.
