The Banks Board Bureau (BBB) in its March 2018 report has recommended to the Central Government that when it comes to attracting personages on Boards of Public Sector Banks (PSBs), they should not be adversely positioned vis-a-vis the private sector. The government should make the guidelines on eligibility of personages for appointment on Boards of banks, ownership neutral.
