DoPT relieves a transferred CSS officer

In an extraordinary move, the DoPT stands relieved to transfer CSS office C Gangadharan from the Ministry of Mines to the Ministry of Culture as Director. His transfer order was issued on June 16, 2020 and according to CSS Rules 2009 upon inter cadre transfer, a CSS is to be relieved within 45 days of transfer orders. Thereafter the officer is deemed to be relieved and will not be entitled to draw any salary or allowances from the Ministry from which he was transferred.
