The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has issued new directives about attendance in the Government offices. Accordingly, the servants at the level of Under Secretary and above are required to attend offices on all working days. Below US at least 50 percent of attendance is to be ensured. Officers/staff residing in the containment zone shall be exempted from coming to office until the containment zone is de notified. Meetings shall be conducted through video conferencing. Personal meetings with visitors, unless absolutely necessary in public interest, are to be avoided.
