DoT facing acute shortage of staff

All field units of DoT under the ministry of telecommunication are facing acute shortage of technical, ministerial and non-ministerial staff. Almost every LSAs are inviting applications for retired persons to apply against the demand. Some LSAs also invite applications on a deputation basis. Experts said that the department should recruit staff at every level in large numbers to fill up these vacancies.
