Dr Alok Mohan given additional charge of DG, Karnataka

After the order to relieve Praveen Sood, the Director General of Police (DGP) of Karnataka, the additional charge has been given to Dr Alok Mohan (1987 batch). The order to relieve Sood will come into effect from Monday. According to the order of Mohan, who was Commandant General , Home Guards, will hold the post of Director General and Inspector General of Police (Head of the Police Force) as additional charge. He will also look after  Karnataka Police Housing Corporation as Chairman.
