Dr Bahuguna is Member of ICFRE Society

The Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change had recently reorganized the Apex Body looking after its autonomous Institution.i.e. Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE).The Ministry in a notification issued in the first week of July had appointed the former Director-General of ICFRE Dr VK Bahuguna as Member of the ICFRE Society for a period of two years. By doing this Ministry had given a loud message to bring on board good, honest and competent persons to ensure better decision making in the forestry sector. The ICFRE was ably led by Dr Bahuguna with credible and measurable achievements recognized even by FAO when he was invited to Chair a session in the World Forestry Week in September 2012.
