Dr Inder Jit Singh pays price for being honest, strict to discipline ?

Dr Inder Jit Singh, who was stripped of the Ministry of Coal as Secretary, bore the brunt of being honest and strict to discipline. The Government of India removed him despite 10 percent never-before-seen growth in coal sector. Dr Singh, who belongs to a 1985 batch IAS officer of Kerala cadre, paid the price for being over-ambitious to touch 50 percent growth. (An existing Secretary with one of the important Ministries is whispered to be under fire range for being at loggerheads with the concerned Minister).
