Dr Rath organizes 7th Global Program on Corporate Governance

The 7 th global program on Corporate Governance in Public Enterprises commenced at the International Management Institute New Delhi under the guidance and supervision of Dr Arun K Rath . Funded by the Ministry of External Affairs under the India Techno Economic Cooperation ( ITEC) program, this program is being organised by Dr Rath for the seventh consecutive year . This six week program ( 24 Feb-3 April 2020) is being attended by 30 senior executives from government and corporations from seventeen countries of the world. The participating countries from around the world include Russia, Bulgaria, Tajikistan, Mongolia, Congo, South Africa, Sierra Leon, Senegal, Zambia, Kingdom of Eswatini, Malawi, Maldives,Tunisia ,Mozambique ,Sri Lanka, Fiji and Honduras. The executives from these countries are staying in the IMI Delhi campus for six weeks and attending the training program designed to build capacity for better governance of State Owned Enterprises in their economies . The course will include best practices of global as well as Indian frame work of efficient management , good corporate governance and social responsibility of business enterprises with focus on Public Enterprises. In addition to classroom training,the participants will also visit few Indian companies and industrial establishments to acquire first hand understanding of the Indian best practices of corporate governance . Dr Rath , the Program Director of this prestigious global program, is former Secretary MHRD Govt of India and belongs to 1973 batch of IAS in Jharkhand cadre.
