DRDO Chairman Dr Satheesh Reddy addresses CEL employees on foundation day

Central Electronics Limited, a pioneer in the field of Solar PV, celebrated its 46th Foundation Day. On this occasion, Dr G Satheesh Reddy, Secretary, Department of Defence R&D and Chairman, DRDO addressed the employees of CEL through online video conferencing. He congratulated CEL for completing 46 years of service to nation and appreciated the working of CEL. He wished that CEL achieve new heights in manufacturing and service to the nation. B N Sarkar, CMD, CEL in a limited attendance function, following social distancing and sanitization norms, facilitated the employees who completed 25 years and 10 years of service in the company. He appreciated the enthusiasm and dedication of the employees and call on for greater efforts to make company a leader in solar PV, railway electronics, strategic electronics and other business areas.  He appreciated the work done by essential services employees during the COVID-19 lockdown period and distributed appreciation certificates to Sanitation Workers, Watch & Ward and other staff of CEL who kept the essential works of company running during the COVID-19 crisis period.  The occasion was graced by K P Chauhan, National President, Kesaria Foundation and Amber Swami, Advisor, Kesaria Foundation, an NGO working for social upliftment in various districts of UP and which has helped the migrant labourers with food and other amenities during the COVID-19 lockdown period besides feeding stray animals.
