DVC achieves highest ever daily gross generation

Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) achieved its highest ever daily gross generation of 141.31 MU on March 7, 2022. This surpasses the previous daily highest generation achieved on March 16, 2021.  The Plant Load Factor (PLF) of DVC has also shown a consistent rise and stands at 67.98% (FY-2021-22-till date) compared to the all India PLF of 57.47% (up to Feb-22).  The present installed capacity of DVC stands at 6901 MW (Thermal: 6750 MW and Renewable: 151 MW).
