DVC achieves highest ever daily gross generation on March 6

Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) achieved the highest ever daily gross generation of 138.86 MU on March 6, 2021. This surpasses the previous daily highest generation achieved on April 24, 2018. The Plant Load Factor (PLF) of DVC has also shown a consistent rise and stands at 61.33% (FY-21 till date) compared to the all India PLF of 51.49% (up to January-21). The present installed capacity of DVC stands at 7107.2 MW (Thermal: 6960 MW and Hydel: 147.2 MW).
